At MYDEN, we strive to ensure that every purchase of bedding products, home décor, bedding accessories, furniture, home furnishings, and gifting items meets Your expectations. This Return and Refund Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms under which You may return products purchased from our website www.myden.in ("Website") and seek refunds, in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. By shopping with us, you agree to adhere to this Policy. Please read it carefully before initiating a return or refund request.

1. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

1.1. Return Window

 You may return a product within 7 days from the date of delivery, unless otherwise specified on the product page. This exceeds the minimum requirements under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, to ensure customer satisfaction.

1.2. Eligible Reasons for Return

Returns are accepted under the following conditions:

  • Defective Product: The item is damaged, faulty, or does not function as described (e.g., torn bedding, broken furniture).
  • Incorrect Product: You received an item different from what You ordered (e.g., wrong colour, size, or design).
  • Damaged During Transit: The product was damaged before delivery.
  • Change of Mind: Returns for non-defective items may be accepted at MYDEN’s discretion, provided the product meets the conditions in Section below.

1.3. Condition of Returned Products

 To qualify for a return:

  • The product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.
  • It must be returned with all original packaging, tags, labels, and accessories (e.g., warranty cards, manuals).
  • Custom-made or personalized products (e.g., bespoke furniture or engraved gifting items) are non-returnable unless defective or incorrect.

1.4. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are exempt from returns due to hygiene or customization, including but not limited to:

The following items are NOT eligible for return or refund:

  • Customized or Personalized Products: Items that have been customized or made-to-order cannot be returned unless they are defective or incorrect.
  • Perishable or Hygienic Items: Items such as mattresses, pillows, or bedding accessories once opened cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons.
  • Gifting and Seasonal Items: Festive or seasonal gifting items cannot be returned unless damaged or incorrect.
  • Clearance or Final Sale Items: Products purchased during a clearance sale or with heavy discounts are non-returnable and non-refundable.

2. RETURN PROCESS

2.1. Initiating a Return

To request a return:

  • Log in to your MYDEN account → Go to "My Orders" → Select the item → Click "Return/Exchange
  • Alternatively, you can also contact our customer support team within the 7-day return window at support@myden.in or +91-7598004355.
  • Provide Your order number, product details, and reason for return.
  • For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, you may be asked to share clear images/videos highlighting the issue.

2.2. Return Approval

MYDEN will review Your request and respond within 3 business days. Upon approval, you will receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and instructions for shipping the product back. Approved returns will be scheduled for free pickup (where applicable) via our logistics partner. For self-shipped returns, a refund will be processed after inspection.

2.3. Shipping the Return

  • Pack the product securely in its original packaging.
  •  Include the RAN and a copy of the invoice/order confirmation in the package.
  • Ship the product to the address provided by MYDEN.
  • For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, MYDEN will arrange a free pickup or reimburse reasonable shipping costs, as mandated by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. For change-of-mind returns, shipping costs are borne by you unless otherwise stated.

2.4. Inspection

Upon receiving the returned product, MYDEN will inspect it within 5 business days to verify its condition. We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet the eligibility criteria outlined in Section 1.

3. REFUND ELIGIBILITY AND PROCESS

3.1. Refund Conditions

Refunds will be issued if:

  • The return is approved after inspection and complies with this Policy.
  • The product was defective, incorrect, or damaged upon delivery, aligning with Your rights under Section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
  • MYDEN is unable to replace an eligible returned product due to unavailability.

3.2. Refund Amount

  • For defective, incorrect, or damaged products, you will receive a full refund, including the product cost and original shipping charges (if applicable).
  • For change-of-mind returns (if accepted), only the product cost will be refunded; original and return shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Promotional discounts or cashback applied to the order may be adjusted proportionately in the refund amount.
  • If the product is found to be ineligible for return after inspection, it will be sent back to the customer.

3.3. Refund Timeline

  • Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days from the date MYDEN receives and approves the returned product.
  • The amount will be credited to Your original payment method (e.g., credit card, UPI, net banking). For cash-on-delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be issued as store credit, at MYDEN’s discretion.
  • Delays beyond this timeline may occur due to banking processes, for which MYDEN is not liable.

3.4. Non-Refundable Charges

Prepaid shipping fees, COD charges, or gift-wrapping fees are non-refundable.

4. REPLACEMENT OPTION

Instead of a refund, you may opt for a replacement of the same or a similar product (subject to availability) for defective, damaged, or incorrect items. Replacement shipping costs will be borne by MYDEN, and the new product will be dispatched within 7 business days of return approval, unless delayed by stock or logistical issues. To initiate an exchange, follow the same process outlined in the Return Process section. Once the returned product passes quality verification, the replacement product will be dispatched.

5. CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

Before Shipment

You may cancel Your order at no cost before it is shipped by contacting our customer care at +91 9500589421 or mail us at support@myden.in. A full refund, including any prepaid shipping charges, will be processed within 7 business days. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to:

·       Suspected fraudulent transactions.

·       Unavailability of stock.

·       Incorrect pricing or listing errors.

After Shipment

Once the order is shipped, cancellation is subject to the return process outlined in Section 2. Refunds will follow Section 3, and return shipping costs may apply.

6. STORE CREDIT AND GIFT CARDS

Refunds may be provided as store credit that can be used for future purchases on the Website. Gift cards or promotional vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

7. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

We take utmost care to ensure safe delivery of our products. However, if you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:

  • Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Provide supporting photographs/videos to validate the claim.
  • Based on verification, MYDEN will offer a replacement, refund, or exchange.

8. QUALITY CHECK AND VERIFICATION

All returned products undergo a quality check to ensure compliance with the return conditions. Returns that do not meet these conditions will be rejected and sent back to the customer.

9. LEGAL COMPLIANCE AND CONSUMER RIGHTS

Consumer Protection Act, 2019

This Policy ensures Your rights to seek remedies for defective or deficient goods under Sections 34-36 of the Act. MYDEN commits to fair trade practices and transparency in returns and refunds.

E-Commerce Rules, 2020

As per Rule 4(8), MYDEN provides clear information on return, refund, and replacement procedures, including timelines and contact details. We do not impose unreasonable conditions or refuse legitimate refund requests.

10. EXCEPTIONS AND FORCE MAJEURE

MYDEN is not liable for delays in processing returns or refunds due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions ("Force Majeure"). In such cases, we will notify You and extend timelines accordingly.

MYDEN reserves the right to update this Policy to reflect changes in laws or business practices. The updated Policy will be posted on the Website, and continued purchases thereafter constitute Your acceptance of the revisions.
